As realtors we are often faced with the question from our Clients, “What do we do with all this stuff”? We all have clutter we're living with, whether it's because our style or look has changed, our needs have changed or we're just tired of it. We have a few ideas of what to do with the “stuff”.
Estate Liquidators of South Carolina hard at work.....
One business we've watched rapidly expand state wide is Estate Liquidators. This company will travel to your home and handle the major downsizing or liquidating. They have a great social media campaign using facebook and twitter. I love seeing their updates on upcoming events and my temptation is to go shopping!
New To You 2 - Murrells Inlet
A little more local and on a smaller scale is New to You 2 located in Murrells Inlet. This is a locally owned and managed store that purchases your items outright. It a great win for everyone! You get paid off the bat and the items are removed, so you don't have to deal with it. And you never know what you're going to find in this nice shop if you stop in. I happen to know some treasures have been discovered here.
Good Times Consignment - Pawleys Island
In Pawleys Island we have Good Times Consignment . I've heard great things about this shop and plan on visiting them soon. I understand that there is rapid “stuff” turnover, so don't leave it, if you like it....because chances are it won't be there the next time!
So these are a few our ideas of how to monetize on decluttering! And if you have a lot of energy and want to make the most money, a fall yard sale is the way to go...
