What do Pawleys Island's Seaview Inn, Palmetto Cheese and Get Carried Away Have In Common....

Even in trying economic times true entrepreneurs press on!  With that spirit in mind, I'd like to introduce you to the Henry family, Brian and Sassy Henry.  It's been over six years ago that the Henry's took over one of the only Inn's on Pawleys Island, The Seaview Inn.  I recently heard from a local supper club, how great their meal was and what fun they had, when they dined locally at the The Seaview.  And then I began thinking about what an impact the Henry's have had on our local community and economy.  Not only are they Inn keepers, and serve a great meal to local and overnight guests, they've marketed Pawleys Island in a unique way.

A local favorite, Palmetto Cheese, "the pimento cheese with soul" was literally birthed in their kitchen.  Sassy Henry shared her creation with friends and family and it became such a hit, she began to market it, and now it's distributed for all to enjoy!  Check out their facebook page,  https://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/palmettocheese, for distribution locations and see all the
great recipes they share and fun contests you can participate in!

The Henry's most recent venture is, Get Carried Away, http://www.getcarriedawaypi.com/, a great take out, where local and visitors experience "a taste of Pawleys Island in every bite"!  We can vouch for this!  Recently we were "delivered" an awesome Tomato Pie at the Vintage Estates office and it was absolutely delish!

I can't brag enough about the ventures of the Henry's, but I can invite you to visit them in Pawleys Island and enjoy, not only their delish southern cuisine, but also stop by the Seaview Inn and tell them the Gallup Siau Sales Team, your source for real estate along coastal South Carolina, sent you!!

  1. Sassy honey, I have two slightly toasted slices of bread with our favorite Palmento Cheese spread every morning for breakfast. The regular, original kind is my favorite. Thankyouthankyouthankyou
